Product description
Reliably robust, lasting and lightweight at the same time: the Rock DFS Mid GTX approach shoes by AKU! These highly functional mountain sports shoes are suitable for approaches, easy climbs, via ferrata and rough mountain trails. Their characteristic forefoot construction surrounds and protects the midsole inside with a special strap. This stability is supported and provided with ideal shock absorption by the Internal Midsole System with its exoskeleton structure and feather-light PU interior. This is complemented by the Vibram Approcciosa sole with a Megagrip high-performance compound, offering maximum firmness and traction.
To also ensure comfort, the thermally sealed GORE-TEX membrane provides high breathability alongside reliable waterproofing and windproofing. The Dual Fit lacing system is another convenient feature, as it can be adjusted quickly and precisely to ensure comfort when walking or precision when climbing. All of this makes the Rock DFS Mid GTX mountaineering boots strong companions in the mountains, on rocks and in nature!

comfortable and grippy but by the time I'd broken them in they were too loose. I found myself having to crank the adjustment system really tight even when I was only on moderate ground.
