I’m planning on using this bottle to store boiled water during long, multi-day hikes (for the purpose of sterilization). Is the plastic cap and o-ring suitable for that purpose? Thanks.
Hi Paul, this will be fine to store the water but I'd let it cool before putting the cap on. Being titanium the bottle adn water will cool very quickly anyway so you won't have to wait too long.
