I use it as a shovel in a car for "just in case"
Have not seen heavy use, but did good enough with the packed snow. Will not work with ice or frozen solid snow. For earth, heavily frozen snow I have second hard and sharp shovel for digging in the car. This shovels away material afterwards with ease.
For expeditions, freeride snowboarding/skying would look for something more durable.

I used this in Sweden every day for 2 weeks, and never once did it let me down. Gloves will need to be worn at all times as the metal well freeze in the cold.
