With up to 700 lumens, the Explore 5 head torch from Silva provides powerful illumination for your upcoming outdoor trips. It’s great for trekking, mountain tours or mountain biking. The rechargeable battery can also be recharged by USB (e.g. via a power supply unit, not included), so you always have enough light for the trails ahead.

Versatile and comfortable

Thanks to the ergonomic, adjustable headband, the torch sits securely on your head. It can also be used as a helmet light with the optional mounting clip. A light range of over 100 metres and four adjustable light levels with an adjustable tilt angle offer you optimal visibility in any situation.

The Intelligent Light Technology from Silva combines an extra bright and wide close-range light with a long-range spotlight. Other light modes range from a minimum of 15 lumens and a maximum battery life of 50 hours to full power at 700 lumens and a runtime of approximately 3 hours.

The large on/off button, which also switches between white, orange (high-contrast reading light) and red (night light) modes, can be used with gloves. A button lock also prevents the head torch from being accidentally switched on or off.

Durable and weatherproof

As well as having an impact-resistant polycarbonate body with a non-slip rubber coating, the Explore 5 is IP68 rated. This makes the head torch dustproof and waterproof against brief immersion in water to a maximum depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes. This makes it ideal for changeable weather and long outdoor trips when rain is likely.
