This is what other customers say:
I've only had these boots for a few weeks and not done any hill walking yet, I wanted to break them in a bit. So far so good!
These are the best fitting boots I've had in a long time. I have very narrow feet and hesitated on getting the 5.5 (UK size). I found the size guide to be spot on and they fit so well and I have space for an orthotic insole (I always have insoles due to the width of my feet) so that's a bonus.
Waterproof is important for me as I live in Scotland and I suppose time will tell. I have been through some boggy fields dog walking and they're all cosy and dry so far.
What I like most about these boots are the lacing design all the way to the toes. The lightness is definitely a bonus as I like to walk for a few hours at a time and plan on walking some hills this year so that will be important if I want to pack them in a rucksack.
I did notice that my foot slipped a couple of times when I was moving over wet rocks. I'm not sure there is a boot out there that would be totally slip proof so I won't complain about that and will just be caution when on that type of terrain.
I think I was lucky to find these boots in the sale for £180. I'm looking forward to my next phase of walking with them.
Thank you Alpine Trek!

This shoe would be perfect. Except there was a fault on the right shoe. The sole pad stopped short of the edge of the shoe and so there was a big gap where the toes fell into. Had to return unfortunately. On a big hike that would destroy your toes. The left shoe was fine.
