Disadvantages
This is what customers from around the world say:
I have used the shoes now for around 3-4 month of bouldering close to 3-4 times each week and they are already breaking apart. Specially my left shoe is completly gone. It has already a huge hole were the big toe is (that could be my fault), but the stiches that hold on the straps are all ripping apart. Also there are a lot of zones where the glue is starting to go of and are going loose.
Definitly not the biggest imprest for being my first pair.
I used this shoe for indoor bouldering. At first I was very happy with the fit as I have slim feet that tend to not fill out the heel of the shoe. But the more I used it the more the flaws became obvious:
1. The sole was incredibly slippery, so much so that I got so frustrated that I preferred rentals. I often injured my knees and shins from slipping after a dyno and would often flash a climb using my brothers shoes after struggling using my shoes.
2. The top of the shoe has no rubber on it at all making toe hooks close to impossible. The 3 straps act like ice on the climbing holds.
3. As previously stated the shoe forces you to toe hook using the straps. It didn't take 3 months for the first strap to almost rip off completely. At least it allowed me to get a refund.
The comfort is nice but there are much cheaper options that don't leave you thinking that you've sabotaged yourself.
