the product says it keeps you warm, what is the actual temperature rate? How was the temperature tested if so?

Hi Lenka, specific temperature recommendations cannot be made as generalized temperature ratings are not done for the jacket. My advice is not to use the jacket at temperatures around freezing, but mostly for the colder spring and autumn days (or as midlayer during activities). Warm regard!
