I would recommend this product

I have only used the jacket a few times since receiving it. It's warm, light, fits well and is very well made. Very nice!

Hi John, Ortovox are not specific as to which Pertex Quantum material they are using here but it will be extremely scuff resistant . All Ortovox washing instructions can be found here via the following link:

Hi Paul, Unfortunately, it's not currently possible for us to get that measurement for you and we can only advice that you use the measurements in the size chart as a guide. In this case , the size XL will suit a chest size of 107/112 cm.
