Nomad - Orion 700 - Down sleeping bag

Excellent insulation properties at a low weight - the Orion 700 from Nomad. If you expect the temperatures to drop come nightfall, this sleeping bag is the way to go. Filled with water-repellent, RDS-certified down and synthetic hollow fibres, the Orion 700 delivers optimised insulation and moisture management at a low weight. Plus, it’s incredibly soft and durable as well. The synthetic fibres and V-shaped baffles help prevent the down shifting, whilst the box-wall construction minimises heat loss through the seams.

Plus, the hood and draught collar prevent cold air getting in, whilst the padded zip prevents cold spots. Even though the zip is quite short to keep you as warm as possible, it does zip open in both directions to cool things off when it gets a bit warmer. The zip also glows in the dark so that you can find it at night. The trapezoidal foot box adds to the overall comfort of the bag, and the chest features extra insulation for added warmth.

To prevent odours, Nomad as added a Polygiene treatment as well. That way, you won't have to wash the bag as frequently. If you need to air it out, you can hang it up by the loops. The Orion 700 comes with a stuff sack and storage bag and has a practical pocket for valuables.
