Mindshift - Backlight 18 - Camera backpack tested

Just recently aquired this. Extensive padding, waist strap and sternum strap help put load on hips and increases comfort when hiking. Very good quality materials and workmanship with many additional features that allow you to hang or attach a multitude of accesories. Storage in the camera section is plentiful and I have room for a Fuji XT2, 18-55mm, 10-24mm, 55-200mm lenses, a full Nisi filter set and pouch and a variety of accessories, with space left over. Front pocket is usefully expandable for waterproof jacket, snacks etc.
My only criticism is that within the camera section the lid only has 2 large flat mesh zipped pockets. Although these can be used for storage, they are tight and difficult to access and there are no small easily accessible pockets/slots for SD cards, lens pen, remote control - all item you readily want to hand when the pack is on the gound and the camera compartment open.
All in all, I am pleased with the pack and the keen pricing and service of Alipinetrek.
