Simple, baseball-style hat, but with a boxier crown, giving a bit more room for your bouffant hair-do. Peak is stiffened and curved and works well to keep out the glare or rain. Lightweight and packs up small.
Although this is a soft shell material with a DWR, it seems a bit pointless when there is a big adjustment hole in the back of the hat. There is a hanging loop in the hat, which also seems a bit pointless when there's an adjustment strap on the back. The adjustment strap is elasticated and has a quick release buckle, making it easier to pop your ponytail through, if you have one. The L/XL size adjusts to comfortably fit my 61 cm / 7-5/8 head.
