Purchased these boots to replace a pair of Professional high that i have had for about 8 years, worn daily for walking two border collies on varied terrains , Mountain, moorland, coast & country lane.
Everything on the boots still original even the soles.
Hopefully the JAURE 2 will match them step for step.

thanks for the opportunity to comment.....I would like to know how long hes had the boots?
Hi, I am the original commenter - i had the boots from 2021 and I have just retired them now at the start of 2026. That is why I am back here, looking to a new pair of boots.
In those 5 years, they were worn nearly daily, for 6 months deep within the Amazon Rainforest, for 1 year in high alpine mountains in Europe and Canada (BC), for a trek in the Sahara desert, and for nearly 6 months of 7-days-a-week horse riding at 4,000m in the Andes of Ecuador. I wore them for everything, from attending university in a european city, to camping/hiking/horseriding around every environment and I still think they are my favourite boots. The entire time they were comfortable, from -40⁰c in Canada to 40⁰c humidity in the Amazon basin, and nearly 50⁰c dry heat in the Sahara; all combined with long treks.
However after years of abuse, they are starting to fall apart. My fault, I didn't wax them once and they have been heavily abused, especially in the Amazon.
