April 2024. The La Sportiva - Women's Stream GTX - Walking boots (EUR:38.5, US:7.5, UK:5.5) are the best that I have owned. My first pair was purchased while living in The Pacific Northwest, Washington State, US. I wore them on many hikes and a few snowshoe trips in the Olympic National Forest, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. I had to wear another brand for a few years due to a foot injury. These boots hug my feet and offer the stability that I need. The toe box offers a little more room than other boots which works well after long miles. I'm so excited to be back in my favorite boots!

I ordered these boots for mixed terrain hiking in Ireland - now tried and tested in icy, muddy, rocky and salty environments. The boots have held up brilliantly. They are very comfortable, stable and properly waterproof. My feet have stayed perfectly dry and well secured within the boot whilst hiking over very wet, marshy and muddy terrain (this was something I really hoped for when purchasing given conditions during Irish winter). Definitely worth the price paid. I bought the opal/aqua colourway and love how they look. I bought them a half size larger to allow for thicker socks. I would highly recommend!
