I love these shoes because unlike a lot of other brands La Sportiva actually fits my foot perfectly! My issue is in the rubber. It isn't the best design wise when it comes to rubber, I am an avid climber but not so much that I expected to have to buy a new pair of shoes within 6 months. 4 months down the line and I can see the slow demise and the impending second pair on the horizon.
If I have more of a choice I would go for something with a little more of a lifespan but annoyingly these are the only shoes which fit well and that kind of thing outweighs everything else.
I would recommend them but don't expect them to last too long.

I had 2 pairs, and both of them got destroyed too fast. First one right away on a rock, second in a gym, had to resole them in less then 6 months (climbing 2 times a week).
