For everyone looking to purchase this shoe, THIS IS NOT a trail running shoe but a GXT mountaineering approach shoe. It's a shoe designed for ascents on rocky terrains while being super breathable and comfortable. It's a much softer version of a typical approach mid shoe, making it some kind of hybrid: a trail running-approach shoe. It's breathable and light, and GTX improved it so it can sustain wet environments. Even though I wear 47, I had to size up to 48 to feel the full comfort of this shoe. This is a wide model, so big plus for that, making it extra comfortable. I have yet to test the durable side of the product.

Generally the Ultra raptor II fits normal to slightly snug around the toes, but this wide version is generous in toebox and mid-foot. This is a true wide fit version of the Ultra Raptor II.
