Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane

Another great feature includes the GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that ensures waterproof and breathability properties. Moisture and rain will stay out, while sweat will be effectively wicked away. This keeps you dry and comfortable in any weather.

Rapid lacing system

The lacing system is derived from the Mythos climbing model and allows the shoes to be tightened and the volume to be adjusted with a single movement. This makes it easy for your to make precise adjustments.

Soft Ortholite insole, cushioning EVA midsole and non-slip outsole

One of the most striking features is the grip similar to a climbing shoe. Plus, it has the Impact Brake System in the Vibram Megagrip sole that provides good cushioning. The outsole itself provides a non-slip grip on challenging terrain, whether it's uphill or downhill. The rubber reinforcement over the toe makes the TX4 GTX approach shoes from La Sportiva very durable and wear resistant. Another great feature includes the injected midsole made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) that has excellent cushioning properties. They’re completed by the Ortholite Approach 4 mm insole.
