Reviews overview
This is what customers from around the world say:
After four challenging day hikes covering a variety of terrain—including rocks, scree, moraines, grass, and pine forest trails—I'm ready to share my thoughts on the La Sportiva Prodigio Hike. (Please note: I haven't yet tested them in mud, rain, or on wet rocks.)
So far, these are my favorite hiking shoes to date. As a hiker and mountaineer with over 40 years of experience, I've used countless hiking, approach, mountaineering, and mountain running shoes, so this isn't a statement I make lightly.
Weighing over 90 kg, I sought a shoe that would keep my feet feeling fresh on longer hikes (25 km+) while still performing well on technical terrain. The Prodigio Hike delivers an excellent balance of cushioning and stability. The integrated sock design is a standout feature, effectively protecting against debris and, in my opinion, enhancing the overall aesthetic and function of the shoe.
I wear a size 45, which provides ample toe room for my 28.5 cm foot length (100mm width last)—just as it should. My main hope now is that these shoes prove to be durable over time.
