Useful year-round, superb grip, surprisingly light.
The only minus is that you have to carefully tuck the shoe "tongue" during lacing, or else the upper metal lace-holders may scrape against your shin.

Great boots for colder days and winter hiking. They hold the foot firmly but are comfortable and keep the foot dry even after 8 hours of hiking. I bought the men's model in my usual size and they fit me perfectly.

I used the product throughout the winter period, walking through various terrains and snow levels. The shoes are robust and waterproof, however, you might get a bit cold in them while standing in the snow for a while and get a feeling of moistiness inside.
