Hi Jessica, Unfortunately, given that the hammock has an overall length of 3m it will be much too long or at the very best very saggy for the limited space that you have.

Hi Jessica, Unfortunately, we'll not have a good solution for you as in general the overall length of any adult hammock will be approximately 3m. It's possible that a kid's hammock may exist in a shorter length but will that be suitable to support your weight? You may need to have a rethink.

I’m 14 and do you think that a kids hammock would work?
Much will depend on your height . There are kids hammock available that will be shorter but will that stil be enough for your room and I would think they will also be too saggy to give any real comfort. A bigger room would be the solution!! ;)

I know this is years too late. But for anyone else reading. My bedroom is almost 9ft and I have a double hammock (I am 5'11'') diagonally across the room on a space saving stand (so the ends of the suspension are folded over the stand, to make it shorter). So you could certainly fit a single hammock in an 8ft room the same way (maybe even a double one if you attached it to the walls instead). There are various hammock hang calculators online you can use to work out exactly how much space you need to hang different sized hammocks, depending on how much sag you want etc.
