Perfect for setting new routes, hammering in bolts in alpine terrain, canyoning, caving and rescue: These are the areas where the Kong Speleagle shines! Everybody was so impressed that they presented the hammer with the Outdoor Industry award in 2009.
And it wasn't due to its high-tech look but because of its lightweight, stainless steel head that packs quite a punch! The shape of the head, which is quite reminiscent of an eagle's beak, with the toothed lower side and the large openings allow the hammer to be used to tighten nuts as well. The Kong Speleagle also has ergonomic rubber handle to protect your hands and fingers. The size of the nuts the hammer is compatible with are 13 and 17mm nuts.
