KIPRUN - KD900X.2 - Running shoes tested

This will be the 3rd pair of these shoes I own. I recently ran Frankfurt Marathon in these and they were flawless. Very light, responsive and medium-soft foam. The more force you put in the foam, the more you get back. The carbon plate is much more subtle than on some race shoes, so it doesn’t fatigue your calves. The upper does just enough to hold you in place comfortably with no hotspots or issues anywhere. The rubber outsole is grippy on dry and wet pavement (not designed for trail). The foam is an aTPU, similar to what is used in Puma’s high end racing shoes and I actually prefer the Kiprun as the softer carbon plate keeps from making the foam feel too firm underfoot. This is a sleeper shoe and everyone should give it a try. It runs 1/2 to a full size long. I wear a UK 12, but wear a UK11 in the Kiprun KD900X.2 and it fits perfectly.
