This is what other customers say:
Recently purchased these and excellent ordering and delivery from Alpinetrek. Tried them on a long hike in rain at around 0 C. Very comfortable, excellent support and grip on paths, road, gravel, rocks, mud, boggy ground, deep puddles and shallow streams, through woodland in the rain. Water was flowing over the laces in streams and flood water paths - kept my feet completely dry! Would highly recommend for all terrain!

A response to recent ultra-lightist mania originating from USA (the ones who cut the label off the garment to make it 13.7 grams lighter). One-season (Einweg) A/B shoe, built for the easiest terrain to last appr. 600 km – for similar price you can get easily a decent boot designed for over 2000 km – a 3x better value for the money? Wrinkles on the super thin (less than 1 mm!) leather upper instantly, non-durable EVA midsole. A lot of the outsole (30%?) is hardened EVA with zero traction and extreme fast wear rather than decent Vibram – and the lugs are extremely small (although sold to you as TRACTION LUGS!). The outsole slips and will wear very fast as the real traction surface is relatively small. The heel design carries two trade marks, but… you may bump over uneven surface by default, and some never get used to it.
For the positives, it is light, the rocker sole design provenly helps with foot transition, gait, and ankle support is surprisingly good – this is, however, due to sole design, not the awfully weak upper… and if turning point reached (ultimate scenario), you may have ankle injury. Caveat…
Recommended mainly to infrequent and novice day-hikers demanding extreme cushioning (with health problems: joints, ribbons etc.), for easy terrain (A/B), who have lots of money to buy non-durable gears. Well, still better than hiking in running shoes.
