If you have bunions but want to keep walking ...

these are the boots to buy. A little heavy, so I've just bought a lighter pair for the summer. They are immediately comfortable and design is greatly improved since my first pair, which are worn out after five years of hard use.

Are these boots compatible with crampons?

The Hanwag Tatra range of boots are not crampon compatible. They are much too flexible to support a crampon.
