Some jackets will hold up to light showers, although not entirely waterproof. Some puffer jackets completely get soaked when light rain hits them. Can you clarify, if this jacket would function well in light rain please? Thank you. :-)

I haven't worn it yet, but it's very pleasant to wear, soft, well constructed, seems to last a lifetime :) Nice deep forest color, I was afraid it wouldn't be too bright, but it's not. Fast delivery, only problems with contact. There is no fast callback.

Hi Colleen, The FJÄLLRÄVEN - WOMEN'S EXPEDITION LONG DOWN PARKA is designed for extreme cold conditions where it will not be raining and in addition it's important that the material used in the parka allows the down to breathe. It will have a degree of water repellency but that's it. While this is a very warm and cosy parka it's not designed for damp conditions.
