Disadvantages
This is what customers from around the world say:
I bought the Sörmland trousers expecting a simple, functional winter pant made from G-1000. While the trousers are advertised as lined, the lining only goes down to the knees, which seriously limits their usability in cold weather.
Below the knees, the fabric feels extremely cold against the skin in winter conditions. This design choice makes the trousers uncomfortable and frustrating to wear. Adding a base layer or leggings is not a real solution, as it significantly reduces mobility and makes the trousers feel bulky.
I am not a hunter and I do not wear knee-high boots, so the lack of proper insulation below the knees is a major flaw for everyday winter use. A full-length warm lining would have been the obvious and far more practical choice.
The synthetic lining below the knees performs poorly in cold conditions and does not meet the expectations of a premium outdoor brand.
I am particularly disappointed because I own several Fjällräven products and have always been satisfied with them until now. This product does not live up to the reputation or price level of the brand.
I cannot return them, the 100 days have passed unfortunately.
