Question from John

Jacket sizing

Hi I have read various reviews about sizing of the singi parka and I’m still unsure which size would work best for me. I’m 6’ 2” and have a 42/43” chest. Thanks

Hi John,

Based on your height and chest measurements I would think size L would be the best choice. As an extra guide, the model pictured in the following link is 189cm tall and wearing a size M:

Question from T

Jacket sizing?

I'm 5'8" with a roughly 39" chest. I've found some Fjallraven Small jackets too tight across the shoulders in the past, but sizing up to a Medium makes the sleeves laughably long.

I'm aware that these dimensions can vary between jacket models - The Greenland Winter jackets has slightly shorter sleeves than other models, for example. How does the Singi Wool Padded jacket compare? It's hard to find a local stockist to actually try these on near me.

Hi T, I'd say a small could work fine in the Singi as it has a very roomy fit.

I love the look of this jacket but have struggled with sizing.

Hee Neil,

Depending on your other measurements I would say an L / XL might be a better size for your chest size. 41" is roughly 104cm and that corresponds with the most upper measurement segment of the L. The XL could potentially be a bit wide for you around the chest.

Hopefully this helps you on your way!

Greetings,
Sander
