Disadvantages
This is what other customers say:
I've seen several reviews online stating that Fjallraven jackets tend to be a size or two larger than you'd expect but that it's not consistent across their product range. I'm of course trying to avoid exchanges and unnecessary shipping costs both sides. In your experience, is the Singi jacket true to standard size, or would you recommend choosing a size smaller compared to other brands?
I've seen mixed reviews online about the sizing of Fjallraven products and several people say their jacket sizes are larger than you'd expect, recommending to go down one size. In your experience would you say that is the case with this jacket or should I stick to my usual size when ordering? It's not a brand that's stocked very well in the UK so unable to go in person and want to avoid unnecessary returns if I can. Many thanks
Hi, If I purchase this product, would I encounter custom duty and VAT change when parcel reaches UK boarder?
Fjallraven's best jacket. Super warm with great details. Very durable outer fabric G-1000 which together with the wax make it rainproof and windproof. Great hood, quality zip, plenty of pockets. I would like the extra pocket on the arm that the older version of it had.

Hi Gert,
I can confirm that the Singi Parka is oversized to allow for extra layers underneath when it's extremely cold.
Basically , size down if you would prefer a regular fit. as a reference the model is 184cm tall and wearing a size M.
Note: this is not a waterproof jacket and perhaps not so ideal for the wet winters of the UK
It is oversized. This is how mod parkas were worn and I believe the original functional usage benefits from a roomier cut for layering and breathability. Size down for a regular fit.
