Durable trekking tent for 2 people

The 4-season Venus II Extreme 2-person tent from Exped is made for trekking and bikepacking. Not only is its design very stable, but it’s also waterproof. The durable tent features an entrance on each side, so two people can get in and out without disturbing the other. In addition, there are steep side walls and an internal height of 112 cm, so you can sit comfortably.

Weatherproof tent with high-quality aluminium poles

The Venus II Extreme tent from Exped is made of a 40D ripstop nylon material with silicone coating on both sides. Plus, the 30D ripstop nylon inner tent also has a 20D no-see-um mosquito net that offers ventilation and protection against bugs. As for the 70D Taffeta nylon tent floor, it has a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. If you’ll be pitching the tent on a stony surface, then we recommend purchasing a separate footprint.

The wind-stable and weatherproof construction is supported by DAC Featherlite NSL TH72M poles that are 9.6 mm and 10.25 mm thick. In addition, the trekking tent only weighs 3.2 kg and can be folded down to a size of 46 x 14 cm. As a result, you can easily attach it to your trekking backpack or luggage rack. Plus, there is a sleeping area of 220 x 130 cm and a one-meter vestibule on each side. Here, you can stow away your luggage and shoes.
