Really hard climbing shoe

Was too small for me but also had no flex at all. I like to be able to change my foot shape a bit when climbing and this had no give at all.

  • Advantages
    Robust High edge stability
  • Disadvantages
    Stiff Sole No flexibility

Comfy

I got this shoe wanting something comfortable I could wear for long periods after no longer wanting to suffer with super tight shoes. Im a street shoe size 4 / 37 and went up by .5 of a size to 4.5./ 37.5. I wear these with thin socks to climb inside and outside, bouldering, sport and trad. At first they felt a bit stiff and they're not super flexible but Its not impacted my climbing. it took a little while to get used to the sensitivity with thicker rubber but after a couple of sessions it clicked. I climb in Yorkshire and the gritstone rock is notorious for shredding shoe rubber but these have held their own and show no sign of wear after 6 months of regular climbing. I find them super grippy both on plastic and real rock and they fit my foot type perfectly (I have normal width and arches, "Egyptian" toe shape, a small heel.)

  • Advantages
High edge stability Good fit Good grip Versatile Robust Gritstone
