Hi Chris , It can't be seen on the image above but there's a small side pocket on the thigh of the right hand leg which will be ideal for a brush or tools!
As I am an older climber, what the side pocket is actually brilliant for is my glasses! These are superb jeans, and I practically live in them. You could market the side pocket for this as my mates are always saying why don't all trousers have this! Have placed another order for two pairs :-).
