Have been using them in the mountain and as a liner for ski gloves for a while now, they hold up very well considering the fabric is lightweight fleece. The fleece fabric is dense and hence offer some wind protection as well. They are very warm for their weight. Fit is comfortable. The touchscreen fabric compatible in index and thumb does not work very well. Black Diamond recommends use in temperatures from 4 to 13 C which I find very accurate.
