Asics - Novablast 3 TR - Trail running shoes tested

Following much analysis it was time to look beyond my much trusted Asics Cumulus. I have progressed through the Cumulus model for 15 Years but technology has moved on so should I.
I have used the Novablast 3 TR shoe for an 18 miler and rep sessions and it does not fail to impress. The comfort is performance has left me amazed my times are improving. You can push a long run and legs are fresh the next day. It transitions between different surfaces without noticing. This is good as the terrain I run varies. I have now bought the Road version of the shoe for road only sessions and race day. I am sure the TR version would be fine as the extra grip is not aggressive, but the standard Novablast 3 are even lighter but are still robust.
Size wise I have always worn a UK9 in the Cumulus which were perfect. The Novablast 3 are longer so after reading other reviews I dropped half size to an UK8.5 which are perfect fit.
In summary where have these been all my life a great buy. A plush trainer with performance!! A shoe where one size really does fit all. Delivery from AlpineTrek went very smoothly and they arrived exactly when they said they would.
