Meanwhile, the strategically-placed synthetic fibre fill on the shoulders and sleeves warms even when wet. This makes the winter jacket both extremely warm and extremely lightweight. Thanks to a water-repellent coating, light rain showers run off the outer shell, keeping the down insulation well protected. In addition, the down baffles are larger on the inside than on the outside, essentially sealing the quilted seams. The warm hood and high collar shield you from cold winds. With two front pockets, one chest pocket, two inner pockets and a practical stuff sack, this jacket is fully equipped. Plus, it can be stowed away in the stuff sack to save space during transport.
