Think hood is designed to go over a helmet so if you don't have one on it comes down over your eyes. Bad design as should have a toggle to shorten at the back like many hooded items do.

Only one thing to mention. Could have a better zipper. It’s too small. Sometimes the zipper catches the nearby material. A mechanical guidance protection of the zipper would be useful in order to avoid the above mentioned.
