Sizing is misleading

Note- the “wide” fitting boot is exactly the same size as the normal width boot. If anything slightly tighter! I bought both to compare, in the same style and same shoe size, and have sent the “wide ‘ fitting boots back as they are definitely not wider. I measured everything carefully with a tape as well as trying them on indoors. The two types of boot are identical. Very disappointed as I really need a wider fit and loved these boots otherwise.
