Unbelievable weight to warmth ratio!

I have only just received the product. It is exactly as described. A high quality, unbelievably light down vest. The attention to detail is superb and as soon as you put it on you can feel the dramatic increase in temperature.

I have yet to field test it in any challenging conditions (it is the middle of summer after all!) However, from first impressions I can tell that it will live up to expectations. I have used other products in this category and this vest appears superior in every way. Not to mention I can carry this anywhere without even noticing that it is part of my pack, the weight is almost non-existent.

The only possible downside may prove to be durability. It is a featherweight piece of gear and will require a degree of care in use. However, knowing that and taking simple precautions (i.e. don't wear it as an outer layer around camp-fires, whilst climbing, or hacking through dense undergrowth) and it should be absolutely fine.

All in all a very big thumbs up if you can afford it. (I was lucky to get such a good deal, far better than any other offer I could find after much searching.)
