I bought the US 9.5 to replace the US10 pair that were a bigger fit. The toe box is narrower making running for long distances had.
I chose the US 9.5 size based on the Xero Zelen, which is a good fit for my feet, but the white cloth top makes maintenence for trail running difficult.
The shoe is light and the top very washable. My only gripe is the narrow toe-box.
I found the toe box narrower than my Xero Prio and Xero Aptos. Although I bought these at size 8.5 US instead of size 9 US as the other aforementioned pairs, the fit is good (with no extra room for my big toe).
The sole traction and protection are very good for the very loose rocky trails I have here. But the narrow toe box will prevent me from doing longer routes. Not sure if a size 9 US would have made a difference and I cannot test this now anymore.
