The Kickr V5 Indoor Trainer by Wahoo enables precise and versatile training in your own four walls. It allows you to complete your training workload even in heavy rain, wind or cold. The electromagnetic flywheel is so quiet that only gear changes and the rotation of the chain can be heard. Thanks to its compatibility with the most popular and best training platforms and apps from Wahoo and third-party providers, you don't have to stare at the wall, but can virtually compete with others or complete demanding workouts.
Only with resistance can hurdles be overcome
With a maximum power consumption of 2200 watts, the trainer will leave even the best climbers and sprinters with burning thighs! It also offers the possibility to simulate gradients up to 20% (by adjusting the resistance). This means you can virtually experience most of the world’s mountain stages without any problems.
Precise data collection and a natural riding experience
By increasing the measurement accuracy to +/- 1% and eliminating the calibration previously required, the riding experience has become even more natural. With the Kickr V5, all you have to do is get on and ride, and you can be sure that the data is being recorded accurately and reliably. Wahoo’s newly developed Axis Feet, which simulate the natural lateral movement while riding and also provide extra comfort, especially during longer training sessions, ensure an even more realistic riding experience. And additional adapters allow the Axis Feet to be adapted to the rider’s weight.
Lots of accessories for direct access to training
Delivery includes a cadence sensor and various adapters for the rear wheel axle. An interchangeable 11-speed cassette comes pre-mounted as well. A suitable cassette must be purchased and installed separately for 8/9/10-speed drivetrains. The height of the trainer can be adjusted to different tyre sizes in just a few easy steps, making it easy to switch between different types of bike.
compatibility with apps and bike computers
If the device is coupled with an ELEMNT GPS bike computer from Wahoo, a further training feature opens up. In this case, the bike computer controls the resistance and gradient of the Kickr V5, so that planned tours can easily be completed from home or tours already completed can be ridden again!
