Product description

The Assault 2 FutureLight 2-man tent from The North Face’s Summit Series is designed for extreme use at high altitudes and in the most difficult weather conditions. The 2,240 g reliable dome tent is both highly stable and lightweight, so both you and another alpinist can set it up on narrow rocks, snow and ice to have a good night’s sleep. Plus, the expedition tent comes equipped with two durable DAC Featherlite NSL aluminium tent poles and lightweight DAC aluminium tent stakes that are guaranteed to provide enough stability even if there are strong winds.

In addition, the Assault 2 Futurelight features a triple-layer DryWall 3.0 fabric along with a triple-layer FutureLight laminate to ensure that the waterproof outer will optimally protect you against the rain, moisture and humidity, while remaining very breathable. As for the tent floor, it’s made of a PU-coated and siliconized 40D Nylon ripstop to ensure that it can withstand a hydrostatic head of 3,000 mm without needing any additional groundsheets or footprints.

Some other great features include tool holder slots on the inside for gearlofts or hanging cookers, ventilation openings, a large front entrance and a vestibule. Most importantly, you can even combine the vestibule with the tent to create more space, have extra wind protection and more storage space or you can leave it at home if you want your backpack to be more lightweight.
