Disadvantages
This is what other customers say:
I had bought a Howies 150 merino long sleeved top and wanted a second L/S merino top as a backup. The Stoic T150 mesh/merino top was on offer in a pre-xmas sale and thought I would give it a go as I was new to the brand. I actually wasn't too sure about how it looked at first, but was interested in function over form. However, I was very happy with the fit and it looked better than I imagined when worn. After the first use I was amazed about how good this top is (for me), as I never feel too warm or too cold in it. It breathes very well, is super comfortable and has kept me comfortable in -3 deg C in the UK winter (wearing a S/S Montane T and Acteryx Midlayer Proton with this as the base layer). The Howies top is good but I was sweating more than I'd like, even with just a shell jacket, but the Stoic top just outperforms it in every way i.e. no sweat issues during strenuous exercise, and just about warm enough when in freezing conditions providing I am moving. Overall, it makes for a very vertisile base layer that can be used in various conditions with the right layers to go with it. Simply worth the money
