I was always sceptical of water bladders. They always tasted like plastic to me. A friend told me the source was great, so I tried it, and I'm impressed. The mouthpiece tastes a little plasticy, but if I don't put my tongue onto it, then I don't taste it. The water itself comes out like it was from glass. I'm really impressed.
The two part bladder is helpful. It's nice to have rehydration and water separately while running. I wondered if I wouldn't be better of mixing them, but having them separate is nice.
There is one drawback, one of the two bladders can block if they're not equally full. It should be easy to solve by adding something small to that bladder which stops the two sides pressing together. I read about this, so I knew about it ahead of time. It's not such a big deal, but could definitely be improved in the design. I just drink the other one for a while, and then it opens up again. Eventually I'll take a plastic bottle cap, drill holes in all sides, and drop that into the bladder to fix it.
