Product description
One quick glance at the material, features, design and price is enough: the Sherpa Lakpa Rita jacket is an excellent value. It should come at no surprise that this hardshell jacket has some pretty clever, practice-oriented features. After all, this functional jacket was designed by the world's best mountaineers - the Sherpas. And, it was named after the company's lead ambassador, Lakpa Rita, who climbed Mount Everest 13 times and all the Seven Summits.

The 3-layer hardshell made of windproof and waterproof eVent with special Direct Venting Technology has excellent breathability. It is also very windproof and waterproof thanks to the nano-sized micro-pores. The outer material is robust and abrasion-resistant so it will withstand direct contact with rock and friction from climbing and backpack straps. The jacket has a slimmer fit and is designed for more athletic mountaineers. The sleeves are articulated for enhanced freedom of movement. This is reinforced by the 15 mm wide taping with comparatively laminated narrow seams. They are positioned in such a way as to not cause discomfort under backpack straps or a harness. Plus, this makes the jacket less stiff.

The Lakpa Rita mountaineering jacket comes equipped with a clever hood that can be adjusted even with thing gloves on. In contrast to other high-quality jackets with three cords, this jacket only has a single drawstring. This is located at the back of the head so that it wont get caught on the helmet, straps, branches or anything else for that matter.
The pockets are accessible even with a climbing harness or backpack on.
Conclusion: With the Lakpa Rita functional jacket, youll get an excellent jacket for alpine adventures at an incredible value.
