Product description

The Pack Patrol E1 22 Kit by Scott is the perfect avalanche airbag for fast ascents or short heli-trips – but it's also great for freeriding and snowshoeing. It has a relatively small volume of “only” 22 litres, but it has the advantage that it weighs less and isn’t a burden. However, 22 litres is still plenty for a day trip and everything you need to pack for your travels. First things first: the backpack comes with the proven Scott Alpride Airbag System E1. The electronic system is lightweight and unaffected by cold thanks to supercapacitor technology. The system can be charged completely using a USB cable. If it is in daily use, we recommend recharging the system the evening before your next tour. 2xAA batteries ensure that the rechargeable battery lasts for several weeks when not in use and does not run down. They can also recharge the system in an hour if you have activated the release handle while touring. Good to know: the airbag system is fully inflated within three seconds of deployment.

What else does the Pack Patrol have to offer? As you would expect from a good avalanche airbag, it has both a helmet carrier and a ski attachment system to fix the skis diagonally across the backpack. The side compression straps keep the backpack contents nice and compact and can even be used to attach a snowboard. There is of course also a separate sleeve for safety equipment such as a shovel and probe in the main compartment. In the event of an emergency, there is not only a signal whistle on the sternum strap, there is also an SOS label on the backpack with emergency instructions. After all, the Pack Patrol E1 22 Kit is all about safety!
