The Scarpa Triolet GTX Winter Mountaineering Boots was my first semi-automatic crampon compatible boot and I've been recommending it to friends ever since.
I never got blisters as I read in other reviews and they also don't get water in. It is the best for Mount Olympus in Greece and maybe for higher altitudes. You won't regret it. I have a foot length of 27cm 42EU and I have bought size 46 a bit large. I ordered a 43 for my brother and it fits me tight, I think 2.5 to 3 sizes more than what the company gives you is satisfactory. For example, if with a 25.5 foot scarpa gives you 40, go to 28.5, i.e. 43 European and it will be ok with a midweight sock.
