Product description
Perfect preparation for the long awaited climbs - with the Scarpa Instinct VS-R!
This unisex shoe is well-suited to lighter climbers, who swear by a soft and flexible sole. These shoes have the same lasts and cut as the highly-regarded Instinct VS and Lace models, but with a soft XS Grip2 sole which has a slightly lower profile thickness in the mid foot area.
This makes it possible to get formidable purchase on the tiniest holds. The shoe also has reinforcements on the heels and upper toe areas for toe and heel hooks. These shoes are slip-on with Velcro fastenings which makes them more suitable for more frequent changing and removing than for long sports climbing routes.
Between tours the shoes can be hung on a belt loop so that they retain their pre-tensioning. They can be resoled by the manufacturer when necessary, to extend their usable life.

Note: According to the manufacturer, Scarpa Shoes for climbing will fit in your usual shoe size. But ambitious and experienced climbers (the Instinct VS-R is not a shoe for beginners!) can buy the shoe one or two sizes smaller (European sizes).
