Product description
The Scarpa F1 Evo Manual is a progressive ski touring boot which offers comprehensive capabilities for enthusiasts.
This lighter shoe was developed to supplement the classic F1 and the F1 Evo, falling between the two. While the F1 is robust and completely crampon-compatible (therefore suitable for climbing) and the F1 Evo comes with an automatic mode recognition (ascent or descent), the F1 Evo Manual by Scarpa is the agile and manually adjustable ski climbing boot in the series.
It comes with a carbon reinforced body and two binding mechanisms. Firstly, there is the BOA Closure System on the instep, that gives you superb hold even for extended wear and with just one ratchet offering several pressure settings, it closes securely around the foot. Secondly there is the Fast Buckle closure system with scaling to give you different settings for ascent or descent. The straps over the top can also be removed if necessary.
The high flex makes the shoe especially comfortable and movement friendly. The removable inner shoe is made from soft, insulating, compressed foam, which offers amazing comfort along with the flat seams and a flex point at the ankles.
The Scarpa F1 Evo Manual boots are specially designed for classic touring, when the most important thing is having a light boot with balanced ratio of ascent and descent qualities.
