I bought this as a lightweight bivi to carry on bikepacking trips, it accommodates an Exped mat and a quality sleeping bag with room to spare, has kept me dry in rain and morning dew and has allowed me to enjoy the sky when settling down in a number of spots. The proofing has stayed effective with only basic maintenance and as a side sleeper I haven’t felt cramped.
My only criticism is that when the cover needs to be up (rain, no tarp) that it sits very close to the face and it isn’t always possible to find a way to prop/suspend it. A sleeve to accommodate a pole and form a hoop would complete the product for me.
All in all it has been a good purchase for my needs and just misses out on perfect for what could be a minor change.
