Product description

Steep ice, firn slopes, mixed terrain? The Petzl Lynx is perfect if you want to be able to climb anywhere, but only want to buy one pair of crampons. These crampons feature a modular design and a large number of adjustment options. Customizable features include the binding system on the front, the length of the front points and the number of front points (mono or double).
The heel binding of the Lynx consists of a finely-adjustable lever, which is suitable for boots with a heel welt. You can choose between Fil and Flex for the front binding. The Fil variant comes with a metal bracket that fits boots with a toe welt. The Flex variant uses a basket which even works with boots with no welt.
As already mentioned above, the front points can be adjusted to your individual needs. For climbing in ice couloirs you can use long double-points and for dry tooling a central, long mono-point. Short double-points shorten the leverage while climbing in ice and for mixed terrain you can arrange the front points asymmetrically. When it comes to crampons, it doesn't get more flexible than that!
The crampons also come with anti-balling plates and a Fakir storage pouch. Ice climbing, classic mountaineering, dry tooling, mixed terrain - there's nothing this crampon can't do!

Note: the M center bars included in delivery are suitable for boot sizes 35 to 45. Climbers with larger boot sizes (40-50) will need the L link bar (straight bar T20850 or asymmetrical bar T10950).
