Product description
The perfect climbing harness for any expedition into the mountains: the Aspir from Petzl! The harness is fully adjustable on the leg loops and at the waist, making it easy to refit as layers are added or taken away. The lightweight foam cushioning makes the harness suitable even for longer periods of use and guarantees a small pack size. The closed-cell foam material prevents the absorption of moisture, thus strengthening the gear and belay loops. Whether on alpine climbs or Via Ferrata - in the mountains, the Aspir feels right at home.

Not bad for medium-age children

I bought this for my 8-year old. Even with the small size I have to tighten the harness down to its smallest setting - since the harness only has one waist buckle this makes it a bit tricky to get everything centred, but it's okay. The speed buckles are okay but having tried them I prefer the traditional double-back closure. Still perfectly safe though.

Idiot proof :-)

Very good for beginners - very difficult to put on in a wrong way or to attach in a wrong way. However it twists a bit to the side on the rear if you are not in the middle of the waist size range. Add a few euros and go for Petzl Corax if your are not using it for clubs or groups.
