The transition months, spring and fall, reveal ideal conditions for the Pearl Izumi Attack 3/4 Bib Tight. Its extra length supports and shields your knees, yet its Select Transfer fabric wicks and breaths.
The primary feature of any cycling short, however, is the chamois. Without a good one, you might as well ride in gym shorts. Pearl Izumi's Race 3D Chamois, found in all Attack shorts, is a comfort-oriented pad that's pre-shaped to the contours of your body. And, to firmly establish its Comfort position, this chamois is slightly denser, for added cushion, than the P.R.O. Seamless Chamois.
Advanced four-way stretch technology allows the pad to freely move and wick sweat, effectively reducing saddle sore-prompting friction. In addition to a pad that melds perfectly to your shape, Attack bottoms have an anatomic, eight-panel cut that fits like a second skin. This snug fit is essential to enabling Pearl's Select Transfer fabric to work its technical magic.
Select Transfer fabric is the foundation for all the moisture management fabrics used in much more expensive Pearl Izumi products. Its one-way capillary action and hydrophobic fibers are engineered to quickly wick and evaporate moisture. The surface is also designed to be soft against your skin for undeniable all-day comfort.
The uppers make use of Direct-Vent panels to help cool your core. At the other end, silicone leg grippers hold the hems in place without pulling or pinching. Reflective elements are included for low-light safety.
The Pearl Izumi Attack 3/4 Bib Tight is available in Black and comes in sizes Small through XX-Large.
